anyways, my mom just turned 56, and whilst i am happy for her, the feeling is pretty much ambivalent. i used to recall my mom as the one that every women hated yet envied; she was the ravishing, foxy cleopatra who looked extremely young for her age and had (still has) a killer fashion sense. she was basically the poster mom, if there was such a thing.
i respect my mom because she's a tenacious woman, a stalwart you could say in fact. she has weathered all forms of oppressiveness, from the tyrant attitudes of her in-laws, to my father's gallivanting ways in the past. she raised me up with her bare hands and she loved me with all her heart.
however, time awaits no one. the leaves on the tree wilt; the sun eventually sets.
now, i could only scarcly detect the sprightly sparkle behind her eyes, or her youthful chortle whenever she laughed heartily. her wizened face and wistful smile unveils the time that has caught up with her. and it somehow makes me reflect. how many more years will i be able to spend time with my mom, my one and only respite in times of trouble?
when troubles come and my heart burdened be, she'd be there for me, silently waiting. she raised me up to be more than what i can be. and for this, i am thankful.
to my mom, the one and only person i will never stop loving.

To treasure and appreciate her, while living life to the fullest in honor of her, that is what we as sons and daughters should do.
You should let her know that you love her as much as she loves you. However, asians seldom show their feelings to parents/family directly. Not to mention guys normally keep thoughts and feelings to themselves. You may be the few exceptions since you're so 感性 in this entry. =p

In short, Mr. Anonymous.. pls get a life if you think the better form of getting acknowledgement and love is spewing crap. We're not some cyber dolls.. We've got pretty lives and people to hangout - yes pretty str8 and gay friends. Perhaps you need some introduction to get out of this comfort zone.
I think you are pathetic thoroughly and you are probably those manipulative people in the world, lost in the masochination (I coined this) who likes bullying others, stepping on others to make urself feel good. I've seen all these kinda people, addled with the poison of the minds spending miserable time behind IMH and the confines of their social prisons.. and most of all.. they're never beautiful.
I guess life is very embracing, the more you resist something, the more life throws it at you til you learn. Yes, embrace life, or face it the tough way out, and my advice to you is get out, be social, beautiful and get hitched. And U prob need to get laid too..

Masochination means psychotic fascinations which are blown out of proportions and envelope the person into an induced state of self maniacism (wrong spelling i'm sure).
It can happen to hideous people.. and that's only possible when someone lost a part of themselves to something because essentially it's a mental tradeoff~ and it's perversed
